Convent de la Missio - Grand Luxury Boutique hotel, Adults Only

This little gem of a hotel is tucked away in the intimate streets of Palma, on arrival we were greeted by the hotel Manager and given the history of the beautiful building over a glass of Mallorcan wine. The staff could not have been more courteous and helpful during our staff - especially Omar in the beautiful bar who created cocktails for us each evening. The rooms, aesthetic and calm feeling of the hotel is perfect after a day of sightseeing or shopping - I cannot recommend highly enough and we will be back soon .....

Amazing stay, can’t wait to return! Everything is absolutely fantastic from the moment you arrive. This is like a seven star boutique luxury hotel ! Exceptional service. Authentic amazing building, old convent that has been restored so one has modern facilities yet features from a different era have been retained. Stunning decor in the most fabulous discreet setting off the Main Street yet in the main part of the old town so you are close to everything walking . The Restaurant is outstanding - it has a Michelin Star and deserves at least a second one ! Blessed to have stayed in luxurious hotels world wide I have never had such a wonderful breakfast buffet - delicious, fresh and varied to suit all tastes and such attentive kind staff. Mr Joan Segui who is the Front Office Manager is the Best, so helpful in every way, the welcome was unique, nothing is too much and the generosity and kindness is so authentic it is refreshing in this era to still find luxury hotels run by true passionate professionals. Joan helped make our stay extra special and spent time suggesting places of interest to visit and also local artisans and his advice was invaluable, thank you to you and your wonderful team. Oh, and the bar is super for cocktails and not least the lovely pool area on the rooftop terrace to unwind after a busy great day! Very happy to learn that this small luxury group owns a few other hotels on the beautiful Island of Palma - a wellness hotel set in nature and close to the sea so likely next trip will be a combination of staying in this 17th century elegant converted convent hotel with a stay at the Thermal spa and wellness hotel or will it be Pleta de Mar! ?!So looking forward to our next stay !

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very modern and comfortable. Location was very central to destinations in Palma and just steps from shops and restaurants. The pool area was very nice and a great amenity. The onsite parking is valet and is was very easy to retrieve my vehicle whenever I needed it. I would definitely stay here the next time I’m in Palma.

The lovely Joan checked us in and explained the history of the building. A monastery on the verge of dereliction, the hotel was renovated and the remaining monks still live next door. It's a nice thing they've done. Lots of lovely original features. Beautiful room with an amazing bed and a ridiculous amount of pillows. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Fab bar with great cocktails. For a couples break it was perfect. The wellness spa in the old wine cellar is amazing and OH had a fantastic massage. Located down a side street, five minutes from the cathedral, everything was walkable.

The staff from time of arrival to me leaving for the airport were so friendly, helpful and professional. Anything I asked for they were able to help me with and they were friendly and smiley. The location is perfect for exploring the Old Town and also walking distance from most of the key spots. The breakfast was delicious with a huge selection of fruits, pastries and also perfectly cooked eggs. The rooftop pool is the perfect place to take a break, sunbathe and relax.
